PATIENT GROUP
Are you interested in joining the Howden Medical Centre Patient Participation Group?
Are you interested in how the surgery operates and the services we provide? Are you interested in how the NHS is changing, its future direction and how services are commissioned? Are you ijnterested in being a voice of patients to help improve services and be involved in service changes across the local health sector and potentially social care?
The Patient Participation Group is a group of approximately 13 patients who meet with the practice approximately four times a year on an evening for 1.5 hours. We work together for the benefit of patients and the Practice. We would like to attract group members who would also take part in meetings with the local Integrated Care Board. Patient Group members are invited to meetings to hear about commissioning and service changes locally across the health sector and be the voice of patients in giving feedback on these plans, questioning and discussing changes to healthcare, including hospital provision.
You need to be a patient at The Howden Medical Centre to be a group member.
If you are interested, please email us giving your name, date of birth and a short paragraph as to why you are interested in being a member of the group
